Even if Eterniti Motors hasn't exactly made its Hemera SUV beautiful, it has kept it on a consistently delivered timeline. The boutique British company showed off the Hemera, it's Cayenne-Turbo-S-based "SUV meets BMW M5" at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and now says the final version will rock up to the Beijing Motor Show in April before going on sale later this year.
According to Autocar, only a tiny amount of those sales, though, will take place outside of China: Eterniti plans a first-year run of 50 Hemeras, with 90 percent of them booked for China. The last five of them will be split between Russia, the Middle East and Europe. They could also be paying a little more than previously reported, with the Frankfurt price tag of £150,000 ($240,000 U.S.) now quoted as "above £150,000."
And that's before the bespoke options are arranged on top of the four climate-controlled seats, wireless iPad integration and drink chiller. The 23-inch lightweight wheels, however, won't be extra – shod in low-profile tires they're said to provide a sporting yet refined ride.

BMW 5-Series: All Turbo.

Earlier in the year, BMW announced that the future of their 5-Series would be all turbo. No longer in production is a naturally aspirated middle child as the 3.0 liter straight six has officially been replaced. Now under the hood of all base 5-Series is the company’s all-new turbocharged four cylinder. To accompany the gas burning four is a new turbocharged diesel inline four cylinder that will be found on the next 520d and 525d.
Behind the 520i and 528i badge is a turbocharged, direct injected, Double-Vanos 2.0 liter inline four. In 520i trim, 184 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque is produced so that 62 mph will be achieved in 7.9 seconds with the six speed manual. For the 528i, boost pressure is raised and different fuel injectors are used so the same engine can produce 245 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. With the six speed manual, 62 mph will be hit in 6.2 seconds. What might be more impressive than the new four’s output and acceleration are its fuel economy ratings. Around 40 mpg can be averaged on both cars, including the high output 528i. Both the 520i and 528i can be fitted with the newly built, ZF eight speed automatic.
The new 520d Efficient Dynamics Edition will also hit BMW showrooms soon. 184 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque form an all aluminum 2.0 liter twin turbocharged diesel four cylinder accompany a six speed manual to that 62 mph can happen in 8.2 seconds. Accompany the low-end grunt of the new engine is the ability to average 62.8 mpg.

BMW Motottad Concept E.

The BMW Motottad Concept E is an all-electric emissions-free scooter designed to deliver performance on-par with a 400-500cc commuter motorcycle. The 60-volt concept has a 60-mile range and can be completely recharged from a standard 110-volt outlet in just three hours.
As expected, the front of the scooter is fitted with a traditional telescopic front suspension while the rear features the automaker's signature single-sided swingarm.
The aerodynamic styling is unique, but not over-the-top, with neon green panels emblazoned with the concept's name on the side. The traditional rear-view mirrors are gone. Instead, they have been replaced by twin rear-facing video cameras that project images to twin LCD monitors in the cockpit. In addition to feeding live surrounding traffic information to the driver, the LCD monitors also deliver battery status, range and other essential vehicle information.
We can't help but like this two-passenger eco-scooter. It's hard to argue with something functionally stylish that offers a 60-mile range after a short three-hour charge. Bring it on BMW!

BMW M3.

Modifying a high-performance vehicle like the BMW M3 is a tricky feat. With all the engineering prowess of one of the world's most successful manufacturers behind every nut and bolt on the car, tweaking the recipe can easily lead to diminished performance. Even so, CLP Automotive has turned out a new widebody kit for the M3 Coupe that the aftermarket company is calling the M3 GT. According to our trusty Google Translator, the total package includes a front apron, hood, front fenders and side skirts. A set of 19-inch wheels are also part of the get up.

Under the hood, the engine has been tweaked up to around 600 horsepower thanks to the miracle of forced induction, and a set of Bilstein shocks give the vehicle a little more precision on the track. CLP Automotive says the whole conversion will set you back around €69,000, or $97,034 at current conversion rates.

BMW X5 Accessories.

2012 BMW 3 Series.

New pictures of the 2012 BMW 3 Series have surfaced, showing the car without camouflage. There is possibly no more important sedan for BMW than the 3 Series. It's the car with a burnished reputation, and the 2012 3 Series will be here soon. BMW used a special M Night event in Germany to reveal its new M3 Carbon Racing Technology (CRT) sedan just days before the 2011 Nurburgring 24 Hours endurance race, which took place this past weekend and in which BMW’s own M3 GT race car managed to finish in second place overall.
We’ve already reported on most of the M3 CRT’s specs but we now have a new mega-gallery showing much more of the car than previously seen.

The car is essentially a lightened M3 Sedan fitted with the 450 horsepower drivetrain from the high-performance M3 GTS. Thanks to a number of weight saving modifications, BMW’s engineers have managed to produce an M3 Sedan with a weight-to-power ratio of 7.7 pounds per horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds.

However, the performance is only half the story. The new BMW M3 CRT also represents the world debut of a new production process for carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) components in the auto industry. The innovative production process has been developed for the manufacture of body components for the upcoming i3 and i8 models.
Essentially, the process allowed the leftover cuttings of carbon fiber from the development of the i3 and i8 to be reprocessed for use in the M3 CRT. BMW’s production process allows the carbon fiber threads to be woven into CFRP mats of any size before being impregnated with synthetic resin and hardened.
Sadly, only 67 examples of the M3 CRT are destined for production and so far BMW is yet to reveal how many are coming to the U.S. One thing’s for certain; this likely being the last of BMW’s naturally aspirated M cars means the new sports sedan will be an instant classic.

BMW 1-Series M Coupe.

TechTec has announced a special styling and performance packages for the BMW 1-Series M Coupe. With the upgrades, the small car will become a real monster and it will be perfect for time attack at the race track. The performance upgrade can boost the twin-turbo 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder up to 450PS and 630Nm, instead of the factory’s 340PS (250 kW) and 500Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque.
Stage 1 includes an ECU re-map, so the engine will produce 380 PS (280 kW) and 580Nm (428 lb-ft). The price is just €1 500.
Stage 2 comes for €2 500 and the power becomes 400PS (294 kW) and for €3 300 you will get Stage 3 will full 450PS (331 kW) and 630Nm (465 lb-ft). Nice. The acceleration is a bit faster than some Ferrari models and almost all normal Porsches – 4.1 seconds to 100 km/h.
Furthermore, TechTec equipped the BMW 1-Series M Coupe with a KW club sport suspension and a titanium sports exhaust system from Akrapovic. Finally, the car get a shiny paint and some vinils. Prices are not announced, yet.

Vorsteiner BMW 5er F10.

Vorsteiner are developing special aerodynamics package for the latest BMW 5-Series.
Vorsteiner F10 will be officially released later this summer, so we have to wait a while to see, what will be the modifications, besides the obvious from the pictures.
The styling package includes modified side skirts, a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, a trunk lip spoiler and a new rear diffuser, also from carbon fiber, which houses the dual BMW exhaust system.
Last, but not least, there will be a roof wing spoiler, again from carbon fiber.
The tuning company didn’t release any further information about performance packages or any price lists.

2011 BMW X5.

Rumormill: BMW mulling seven-passenger X7 crossover... again. While it may have seemed unlikely before 1999 when the original X5 was launched, BMW has enjoyed explosive growth in the crossover utility world – so much so that it's expanded its lineup to include the X1, X3 and X6 as well. The X5 and X6 have even spawned M versions, and the X3 is apparently slated to follow suit. But that's hardly the extent of it, as the Bavarian automaker is reportedly developing a larger X7.
According to Automobile, the rumored X7 (codenamed F17) will go head-to-head with the Mercedes-Benz GL and a possible Audi Q9 – you know, in case the Q7 isn't quite big enough. To differentiate it from the X5, the mooted X7 will reportedly pack a third row of seats for seven-passenger capability.
This isn't the first we've heard of the X7, of course. The program was widely reported as canceled back in 2008 thanks largely to poor economic conditions in markets like the United States. The model had been scheduled for a 2013 introduction. Has a modestly improving economy and America's relentless appetite for crossovers rekindled the project? If Automobile is to be believed, apparently so...
